HVAC Protocol Converters
Building Automation Systems (BASs) enable the control and monitoring of various operational functions within buildings. Key components of a BAS include sensors, actuators, and controllers, which are essential to its operation. BAS communication protocols are divided into two categories: proprietary and open protocols. The Bus Lines listed below are utilized to connect different HVAC systems with central controllers and Building Management Systems (BMS).
Adapters can be employed to convert proprietary protocols to open protocols such as Modbus or BACnet, facilitating communication between a VRV system and a third-party controller.
